The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides: Book Review

Alicia Berenson is accused of killing her husband in their home one evening. When she was found and for years after, she does not say a word, not even in her defense at her trials and when she was being interrogated. She was admitted to a psychiatric hospital where many psychiatrists and psychotherapists have tried to get her to talk about what happened and to talk at all. Theo Faber, a psychotherapist, starts at The Grove Hospital wanting to take on her case. When he does, things get interesting. Will he get her talking? Will the truth be uncovered?

This book really had me sucked into it and I could not put it down. It’s full of mystery for me until the end when everything comes together, but it does throw you for a loop and will surprise you. It did me. I totally give this ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Highly recommend. Happy reading.
