Throne of Glass: Book Review

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas is the first book of the Throne of Glass series.
Calaena, an 18-year-old assassin is in a death camp but is taken out from there by the Crown Prince to compete in a competition to become his father, the King’s Champion for four years before being freed completely.
While staying in the Glass Castle, she becomes friends with Princess Nehemiah from Ellywe who claims to not speak the common language well. Luckily, Calaena is fluent in Nehemia’s language. The competition is not only brutal but she has to deal with the deaths of some of the competitors and find out whos killing them.

This book was definitely hard to put down. I really enjoyed it and it’s one of those fantasy books that are not boring at. all. It’s very entertaining from start to finish. To think of an assassin that is only 18 years old…and a famous assassin at that…that is known world wide.. .that has survived a death camp that most people don’t last more than three days in. I highly recommend this book. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
