Audrey Rose, after losing her mother after both fight a battle with influenza, becomes obsessed with forensic medicine. Murders begin around town against women that are not only low-class, but also have been associated with Audrey Rose’s household. Audrey Rose is held back by polite society of the late 19th century but she continuously fights back to solve the mystery behind these murders with her new friend, Thomas Cresswell.
I found this book very entertaining and hard to put down. It is based on some facts of the Jack the Ripper case, but some things were changed and even added on. I plan to eventually finish this series because I thoroughly enjoy this book immensely. I highly recommend it. Definitely a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ read. Y’all check it out. Happy reading and remember: Keep smiling!
